Keyboard
Keyboards supported:
- US keyboard (Qwerty)
- Dvorak keyboard
Please find and install a standard U.S. keyboard driver. Some or all keys on foreign or ergonomic keyboards will not respond as they should. Non-standard mouses, or other other pointing devices such as some trackballs, are not supported.
If you cannot press some keys or hear some sounds, then
- Optimize your system resources.
- If you still have this problem, please report the details including your keyboard-type and country.
If the keys seem to be behaving incorrectly.
- Please disable any special input devices such as a graphic tablet, joystick, or special mouse. Please disable any special language or keyboard settings.
- Reboot your computer, connect to the internet and start Dark Ages.
- In Dark Ages, please click on the top button the far right. This is the options menu. You will see a Keyboard setting there. Please try clicking the keyboard setting.
Attempt to type normally.
- Press F4 to view Settings and click the button beside option 9 to change Chatting Mode. Set it ON. Close these settings. Attempt to type normally.
Press F4 to view Settings and click the button beside option 9 to change Chatting Mode. Set it OFF. Close these settings. Attempt to type normally.
- Click the top right button on the far-right, which is Options. Toggle keyboard. Save and close options and try to type again.
- Double-click yourself in the world view. Close any window that appears.
- Press Alt and no other key.
- Press Ctrl + Alt then press Ctrl + Enter keys.
These will clear some keyboard input modes you may have accidentally entered into.
