This scroll will give ye a little information on gems found about Temuair.

Gems are most commonly found in a raw state. They can, however, be polished to beautiful and valuable stones by rogues. In order to find out what ye gem is worth, ye can have a rogue appraise it for ye. Ye can also have a priest properly identify it so ye know what state the gem is in. Be aware though, whatever a gem is worth, ye will only get half that amount from the Mundanes when selling it. Most mundanes will offer a price before buying it from ye.

If ye wish to leave me any notes, ye may do so by scribing in the open book next to the entrance of the library.

Beryl - This gem can be sold for a profit or used by rogues to craft Beryl and Emerald Rings. It is also needed to learn specific spells or skills.

Coral - This gem can be sold for a profit higher than beryl. It can also be used by rogues to craft Coral and Lapis rings.

Ruby - This gem can be sold for a profit higher than coral. Rubies are needed to learn specific higher insight spells as well. They can also be used by rogues to craft Amethyst, Red Jade, Ruby, and Spinel rings.

Talos - This can be sold for a profit. If not a good one from the Mundanes, ye can get quite a bit from eager Aislings as this gem is so rare. It is needed to craft certain armors and can also be used by rogues to craft Talos Rings.

Hy-brasyl - This gem is very rare and sought after. I'm not certain if there are any Mundanes who will buy it, but I do know ye can make a great profit by selling it to another Aisling. I belive these gems are also needed to craft a specific armor.
