Knowing the enemy is only half of the equation for success. To be a strong hunter, know yourself.

Chapters in this unit are not about the prey. They are devoted to the aisling predator and basic abilities that any path can take advantage of to make the hunt more productive.

• Potions: Herbal remedies and magical elixirs.
• Elements: Elemental interactions and items that provide elemental defense and attack abilities.
• Enchantment: Enchantments and consecrations that alter equipment properties and the abilities of the wearer.
• Smithing: Improving the quality of weapons and armor.
• Spells: Long lasting spells that protect or enhance aislings, and where to find these spells.

In addition to these resources, aislings should become familiar with their particular path's strengths. Numerous works of lore in the Library of Loures deal with specific paths.

It is also recommended that you learn the abilities of the god you worship. Deity miracles can be very powerful. Tryston's lore, "The Gifts of the Gods", explains miracles in detail.
