The Sacrifice
... 99.10.01 through 99.10.03 Hesperos, bard of Undine describes the beginning:
Invasion at Grey Cove "Dad. What are those things coming from the sea?" my daughter asked. "Run, child. Now!" I commanded. The hideous hides approached. Shades interloped in the feast of the dying. Shades overtook the wee outcrop of Undine's Grey Cove. The dark ships left before dawn, leaving a wake of misery and slobbering fools. The creatures it spurt ruin the countryside. Families whole swallowed in their malevolent gait, toward Suomi's mountain pass. Brave Suomi, be braver. Here come the Goblins. By the gods, my body shall be overtaken by goblin brood before the walls of Undine are touched by their slobber. May the lore of goblinkind shed light on their removal from our holy pool and surrounding village.
