You may change your name. You must be level 29 or less (any level may name change during the first week), and have permission from a Guard or Demagogue. You may change your name once, but only once, ever.

The name is very important. It is who you are, and how others know you. Choose your name with self-respect and attention to Temuair's unique setting.

Do not contact Nexon to change your name. Customer support cannot do that. To begin, visit the mundane burgess in your Village Hall. For example: Cedric in Mileth Village Hall.

Please follow the steps carefully:

1. Create a Target Name
2. Register Target Name to this account
3. Verify the Target Name
4. On this, Existing Name, State the Target Name
5. Wait 7 real life days

Changing a character name is very difficult for Nexon to do. Not only is the name changed, but all legends referring to the name, such as the mentor, guide, students, guild acceptor, acceptees, legal and political legends, and more.

A legend of your previous name is listed. The previous name is removed but is not made available for at least 1 month.

The seven day wait is needed to ensure someone does not steal or effectively delete your character by renaming it.
