Testers are now playing in an expandable server architecture. This same architecture is currently supporting 1900 simultaneous players in Korea's most popular RPG The Kingdom of the Winds, which is Nexon's first title.

Gloriously and gratefully there has been no problem from going to distributed server mode. Testers logged back on within five minutes after the server went down for the upgrade. No one could feel a difference.

Distributed server mode, in short, allows thousands of players to play in the same world. Any character you meet in Dark Ages can exist in the same world. There will be no question of which server you play on. They are all interconnected, like the islands of Temuair. Going to another server will be about as simple as taking a ship from Abel to Rucesion.
