There are a few items currently under development for Dark Ages. Due to a snafu with our map editor, the Underwater Areas were postponed. They are now being redeveloped and should be out before the end of this month.
There is a new Valentine's Quest scheduled for release on 2/14/01. It is currently in the final testing phase.
There is a new Justice "Class" under development. The Rangers. They will be responsible for handling justice issues outside of Mileth and Rucesion jurisdictions. They will have increased powers, such as the ability to arrest and jail auto-hunters. No applications for this position will be considered. The title will be awarded to those individuals who have maintained a political position for a period of time, have been able to deal fairly with issues on their own and have show unbiased and enthusiasm for the game.
A Master's hunting area is under development and it is scheduled for release before the end of this month. Also, there has been quite a bit of small developments trying to stem the various ways to 'cheat' the system. One such change is that various quests and other procedures will change slightly so that it will check a character's base level of statistics and not their level based upon items that they might have equipped.
Due to an unforseen problem with our system, the Dark Ages contests have been put on a temporary hold. The hope is that all contests will be judged and posted by the end of the month, if not sooner.
Still on the development board:
New areas designed for Warriors, Wizards and Rogues.
"Lone Wolf" quests - an increase in single character adventures.
Additions to Necromancy.
Quests for "Pure paths".
All of these are tentative with unknown release dates at this time.
