Necromancy

A Mundane, who wishes to remain nameless for his own safety, admitted this moon that several long lost Wizard spells were found. The Mundane calls it "necromancy", the ability to use the demonic power of Sgrios to your advantage. It is unsaid what this power can do. But one thing is for sure - this power can be devastating to those it is used against, making it highly secretive as to ensure it does not fall into the wrong hands.

Rumor speculates that this type of sorcery has the power to raise the dead, and control that undead creature to the caster's advantage. However, this is not certain. No one will know what this forgotten power can do until the Mundanes offer this knowledge to Aislings.

The Mundane I spoke with says the power behind this "necromancy" is great, and very hard to control. He himself cannot control it as of yet. By channeling Sgrios' power through himself, he states "it has the ability to drive one mad through the dark visions that flash through your mind."

The "Golden Dreamers"

As of late, there have been many recent thefts from higglers and banks. The Temuair Times covered the first theft some issues back, that one from the Mileth Bank. Seven days ago, there was a break in at Undine higgler's, in which a group of 3 female Aisling rogues attempted to steal the higgler's profits.

As they fled, several guards stopped them. The rogues put up a fight, but were no match for the 4 guards.

Upon questioning, the ladies explained that they are merely 3 of the 12 female rogues who are part of a theft band known as the "Golden Dreamers". They refused to give away any information that can lead to the capture of the other rogues.

If you have any information regarding these bandits known as the "Golden Dreamers", please contact an official immediately.

Summonings at Low

Mileth and Rucesion officials both agree that hostile summonings are at an all time low. In fact, there has not been one report in several double-moons. Nobody knows why for sure, but it is speculated that Mundanes withdrew that power from the Aislings who followed Sgrios. Most say that is a good thing, while others dislike the idea. I for one, cannot say.

Hostile summonings was a vital part of the Sgrios fellowship's religious practice, although illegal in both Mileth and Rucesion. No hostile summonings does mean very fewer deaths, which is a good thing, but at what cost to Sgrios worshipers?

All Aislings should be free to worship the god they chose. This means performing the religious practices of the god, partaking in the mass worship of the god and spreading the word of the god. However, if the Mundanes take the religious practice of summoning from Sgrios worshipers, the balance of the worships fall. It is unfair to the worshipers of Sgrios that they cannot perform their religious practice - even if it is illegal. This will be debated by many, I am sure. Please keep in mind that all Aislings have rights.

Monastery Shrouded in Dream

Undine - The Sapphire Stream Monastery has finally been discovered. The legendary monastery has been sighted north of Undine, near the sea. However, no one has yet been able to reach the monastery.

There seems to be a strange mist in the air around the monastery. Any aisling who wanders into the mist becomes lost and confused. This state remains, until the aisling finally sleeps. When the aisling awakens, they find themselves in their hometown, as if the entire journey were nothing but a dream.

"It's very frustrating." Says one aisling monk, "I can see it, yet it is just beyond my grasp."

Mundane researchers of the strange effect assure that they are working diligently to unravel the mystery. As soon as the mist enshrouding the Sapphire Stream Monastery is listed, the mundanes will spread word through the usual channels and gossip.

Mundanes List Sponsors

With the recent update of Political Responsibilities, came the new sponsor system. The system is designed to keep repeat office offenders and abusers out of office - by not allowing them to take office without a sponsor. To further ensure office abusers do not take office, the political sponsor of an Aisling in office who breaks the law faces punishment as well.

A slight problem was that you had no idea who sponsored the Aisling who broke the law. That is, until now. To help further benefit the town of Mileth and Commonwealth of Rucesion, Mundanes now post the sponsors of all Aisling officials in office in the Office Holders Currently On-Duty post. The posts may be found on the Aisling board Mundane Notices, and on both Rucesion and Mileth Community Boards.

King Bruce Falls Ill

King Bruce of Loures in known throughout Temuair by both Aislings and Mundanes alike. Once thought of as a kind, noble man by all is now thought of as a monster. His release of the Orc army upon Undine because of the rebellion has turned many Aisling's opinions.

Whether you like the King, or hate him, King Bruce has suddenly fallen ill. His illness is unknown to all every healer who has observed the King. Speaking to one of the kinsmen, the Temuair Times finds out an unknown man was found in the castle's kitchen. The King sat eating his hearty meal of Brawlfish meat when he had collapsed. The same very meal that was being prepared for him when the unknown man climbed out of the kitchen window. Many of the kinsmen at Loures feel the King has been poisoned. They found a half empty bottle of a "clear liquid that smelled more putrid than Draco droppings", said the chef. "It looks like the man didn't have time to pour it all into the cooking pot before I came back".

Each of the healers who have observed the King say he should be back to his old self soon. Seeing the King myself, I can see some color has returned to his face. The Loures army is searching all Temuair for the unknown man described as a "tall fella'", with a brown moth eaten cloak and short black hair". If you have any information, please contact the Loures army - although many of you will cheer the fleeing man on.
