East Woodlands - Recently, the wasps of East Woodlands stopped producing wax. This has caused great concern among low insight Aislings and their mentors, especially in the paths of monk, priest and wizards that specialize in Sal magic. "My students can't learn to kick!" exclaims one monk "How are they expected to advance?" Beginning priests need raw wax to learn Beag Ioc, the most basic healing spell, and wizards need raw wax for Beag Sal, the novice water spell. Devlin, fae priestess of Mileth, sends many Aislings questing for raw wax. She said, "There is an imbalance in the cosmos." When asked to elaborate, she just stared vacantly into space and blew bubbles from her mouth. Cian, the Mileth alchemist, was consulted. "Everything boils down to cause and effect." he replied, "Flowers bloom. Wasps collect nectar from flowers. Wasps make wax. I believe that the wasps' life cycle has been disrupted by the numerous herbalists picking out the supplies of hydele in east woodlands. Ironically, the missing wax limits the number of new Aislings taking the paths that can become herbalists. The natural order will always balance itself." These days, Grimlocks in Pravat Caves have had frequent strange behavior. Some aislings allied with them reported to us that some have attacked them without any reason, sneaking around them and backstabbing when there was an opportunity to do it. We tried to find out what the reason of this, and according to local informants, it seems that there is a black market for the Grimlock's weapons. When we questioned the Grimlock Queen, Phailan, we were told "Grimlock give up weapon only when die. Grimlock survive!" So, as it seems, the Grimlock are angered with all the assaults on their civilization by other Aislings, who want nothing more than money. It is rumored that curved daggers sell for near 1 and a half million coins! Special correspondent, Aeda Vales

When asked why she decided to begin this new institution in Temuair, her remark was "Why must I be the only person in Temuair that has found their soul mate?", "We at The Perfect Fit hope to bring happiness and romance back into the land of Temuair, where once there was only darkness with the new installments of the Temuairian Times, now we find light and laughter, where ever one looks." The Perfect Fit is a Matchmaking endeavor open to all aislings of all ages, if interested in this service contact Iris.
Tips for writing a sucessful personal ad: Include a physical description of yourself that's accurate but not too detailed. Be sure to include a profile of the type of person you're seeking--physically, intellectually and spiritually. If you're only interested in Deochian men, say so. If you have an age range in mind, mention it. When you finish writing your ad, run it by a friend. Ask them if you have represented yourself accurately. Take their advice into account, do a revision if necessary, then submit the ad. Show up with realistic expectations and your intuition fine-tuned. Be prepared to skip dessert and move on to candidate number two. It may take several tries before a potential soul mate turns up. If interested drop a line - and your ad - at the Piet Tavern in care of Iris Wildfire ((Iris_danesti@hotmail.com)) and I shall post it immediately. Iris Wildfire Several days ago, the hot summer sun shone bright. It was suprisingly hot. "I believe that ther' sun up there may be sweatin' itself!", said a Mundane working on his farm in Mileth. "The heat's enough ta' make ya' wanna sitin' drink squeezed lemons all day", which is exactly what Margret the wizard was doing at the time. We all hope this heat wave ends soon, if we aren't careful the crops could dry up, causing problems in the already small economy. Mahina says to Margret, "I miss you, best friend!" Sappho says to Riyan and Dregar, "Congratulations on renewing your wedding vows. May you have a long and wonderful marriage!" Armra says to Emerelda, "Your in my memories." Iris and Zervus Wildfire would like to announce the birth of their son Rycuda Wildfire, born Deoch 13, Summer. Congratulations to Kalasin and Dartanian on their 9th Anniversary this fall.
