He had challenged a goblin shaman to a duel and was now preparing. The goblin snorted and laughed until the same sigils upon the dirt began to appear about him. A strange hum filled the air and then the goblin's form was unrecognizable flesh. Where it had green pallid skin, it was now gray and lifeless. Where there were eyes, there were now orbs frozen in horror.

Other races, too, hold magical secrets, which man may learn from if man listens to their tongue. Humanity is new to Temuair. You have much to learn. Astrid's hexagram is more ancient than man is. Mukul's culture is too. The dark earth that the Grimlok live upon also hides ancient knowledge.
